Artificer Dice v4.0 Dev Log 5 - Buttoned Up!

I have handled the innards of naval modular camera rigs worth more than I make in a year, and soldered spider wire onto exposed 0.4mm traces on a PCB. The handling and assembly of the Hybrid PCB was more nerve-wracking than that. Every twist and bend threatened to rip the wires off of their pads, something I wouldn’t know until the entire strip was installed, leaving me to pull the whole thing out, fix it, and start again.

Despite the headache, it’s installed, running, and glowing beautifully.

The interior still needs another round of development, and the PCB an overhaul on how it’s produced and reinforced, but overall I am thrilled it’s finally come together and it was a proper learning experience getting it to this point.
